About This Site
RedLightRecoveryMat.com is run by [YOUR NAME], a [one-line bio: e.g., podcaster and recovery-gear researcher who has spent X years covering personal development and health habits].
This site exists because red light mat reviews are mostly affiliate pages ranking products by commission rate, written by people who never asked how many of those thousand LEDs actually emit near-infrared, or what distance that heroic irradiance number was measured at. We read the spec sheets, the warranty terms, and the measurement claims, and we tell you where the marketing ends.
How We Evaluate
Every recommendation is built from four sources: manufacturer specifications and warranty documents, stated measurement methodology, independent editorial reviews, and verified owner feedback across retail and review platforms. When we haven't personally tested a unit, we say so. When a spec is decorative (gemstone layers) or misleading (surface-contact irradiance readings, blended chip counts), we say that too.
How We Make Money
Affiliate commissions. If you buy through a link here, the brand pays us a percentage and your price doesn't change. Two commitments behind that: rankings never change based on commission rates, and we'd rather tell you to buy the cheaper mat (we often do, it's a $199 Hooga) than burn trust for a bigger payout.
